The rules of Wörld. Please read them. They matter.

The short version: Be a decent human being. Don't harass people. Don't break the App. Don't try to cheat the Glöb system. Wörld is supposed to be a fun, culturally curious, welcoming place. If you make it less than that, we'll remove you from it. Full details below.
By downloading, accessing, or using the Wörld application ("the App", "Wörld", "Service") or this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Wörld.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Wörld. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Wörld. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the App.
You must provide accurate information during account creation. Using false information — including a false age — is a violation of these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@playworld.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
Each person may hold only one Wörld account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans, manipulate in-game systems, or for any deceptive purpose is prohibited.
You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed as described in our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
Wörld is a social platform built around cultural discovery and genuine human connection. You agree not to use Wörld to:
All content you submit through Wörld must comply with our content standards. Content must not be sexually explicit, violent, hateful or discriminatory, designed to intimidate or threaten, or in violation of any applicable law.
Glöbs are Wörld's in-game virtual currency (symbol: Ö). Glöbs are not real money, do not have real-world monetary value, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any real-world currency.
Glöbs may be earned through normal gameplay activity or purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system. All Glöb purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's own refund policies.
You may not transfer, sell, trade, or gift Glöbs outside of any feature we explicitly provide for that purpose, exploit bugs to obtain Glöbs fraudulently, or use third-party services to obtain Glöbs outside of Wörld's provided methods.
Glöbs may be lost or forfeited if your account is suspended or terminated for violations of these Terms. If your account is terminated without cause, we will use reasonable efforts to address any purchased Glöbs in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
All content within Wörld — including the application, country maps, character designs (Wörldies), NPC characters, the Wörld logo, the Glöb currency system and Ö symbol, country pun names, and all associated creative content — is owned by or licensed to Wörld and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of content you create and submit through Wörld. By submitting content, you grant Wörld a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, display, and transmit that content for the purpose of operating the Service.
Wörld is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wörld and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Wörld uses third-party services including Apple (for in-app purchases and distribution) and Replit's database infrastructure. We are not responsible for the conduct of these third parties and your use of their services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Wörld and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from: (a) your use of the App; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you submit through the App.
If you have a concern or complaint, please contact us first at hello@playworld.app — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally. For any disputes that cannot be resolved informally, these Terms shall be governed by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Wörld at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of significant changes. Purchased Glöbs and active Wörld Pass subscriptions will be handled appropriately in the event of service discontinuation.
